Then I looked. And there was a great multitude which no one could count, from all nations and tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands. They cried out with a loud voice: “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne and to the Lamb” (Revelation 7:9-10).
The above Scripture is a vision given to the Apostle John which reveals a time when all “nations and tribes and peoples and tongues” will be united in one perfect harmony. It reflects a time when there will be no more divisions based on color, race, creed, gender, culture, and most of all, religion.
We have learned, through history, of the numerous wars that have been fought time and time again. These wars have been fought, for the most part, as a result of the myriad of differences that exist among the human race. Even to this present day humanity continues to grapple with the scourge of war. All of these wars, past and present, are clearly rooted in fear. Every war ever fought was the result of the fear that exists amongst the tribes that populate this entire planet. In other words, fear of the unknown; for it is apparent whatever appears to be foreign to us has the potential to stir up fear within us. Yes, wars and rumors of war continue to exist to this very day. Tribalism has wreaked havoc on every continent on the face of the earth.
The unification of the tribes serves as the antithesis to the tribalism that has plagued humanity for millennia. I am reminded of a quote by the LION OF JUDAH which speaks directly to the ills of tribalism:
“We feel that the fragmentation of a nation along tribal and ethnic lines is contrary to the will of survival and to the force of logic, because even for the tribes to survive they must stand together. Hence fragmentation along tribal lines is contrary to the nation’s survival, for there is no tribe strong enough by itself to defend its interests. Fragmentation is indeed contrary to the laws of nature itself”. – Haile Selassie I, February 1972.
This quote clearly reveals to us the necessity and importance for the tribes to unite. If fragmentation of the tribes is contrary to the laws of nature, then evidently to not unite most assuredly puts humanity on the path to destruction.
Nevertheless, we are witnessing a shift. The very things that have caused division and separation; the very things that have caused us to fear one another are slowly but surely fading. We are living in a day and age where modern technology has given us the ability to communicate with each other like never before on a global scale. Even though we have not fully evolved to the point of being totally free of the fear that separates us, we can undoubtedly say we are now becoming a global community of tribes. Yes, we are becoming something we have never been.
People from all backgrounds are coming together in a most unprecedented way. They are coming together with the full intention of creating a world where the concept of unity in diversity is the “new world order”. There is evidence all around us that this “coming together” is real. Inter-racial marriages, which are continually on the increase, stand out more than anything else as proof that the fear factor that once crippled humanity is on the decline. Children who are the product of these inter-racial unions clearly stand as the most natural catalysts towards the total unification of humanity. Since children represent the future, we can have hope, and we can rest assure that children born of these inter-racial marriages are simply one of the biggest signs pointing us to a bright future.
The UNTIL THAT DAY movement is an unwavering and dedicated human movement seeking real change through artful and collective consciousness-raising efforts that will manifest in THAT DAY, when the tribes will once and for all unite; when everlasting peace, global citizenship, and the rule of international morality are believed, relentlessly pursued and celebrated by all for the benefit of life on this planet. There is an imminent shift is happening, NOW, and a golden age is upon us!
